Huawei Unveils White Paper on Data Center Intelligent Construction with the ADCA, Setting New Industry Standards

[Barcelona, Spain, February 27, 2024] At MWC 2024, Huawei and the Africa Data Centres Association (ADCA) jointly released the Data Center Intelligent Construction White Paper. This white paper sets new standards for the digital, green, and intelligent construction of data centers in the intelligent era.

The white paper was officially released in a ceremony attended by key representatives: Stephane Duproz from ADCA, Zhou Yilin, President of Huawei's IT Consulting & System Integration Domain, Fan Shixing, General Manager of Huawei's Data Center Facility Integration Business Dept, and Guo Gang, General Manager of Huawei's Southern Africa Service & Software Marketing & Solution Sales Dept.

Stephane Duproz gave an in-depth talk about the white paper, highlighting that AI and big data are driving new data center needs. He also emphasized the urgent need for the digital, green, and intelligent data center integration service. In this transformation, digital platforms are key for managing end-to-end operations and mitigating EHS risks.

Fan Shixing stated that the BestDC platform showcases Huawei's 15 years of data center construction experience and industry insights. This platform can facilitate intelligent construction with visible progress, manageable quality, controllable safety, and reliable O&M. According to Mr. Fan, the white paper encompasses various aspects including the architecture of the intelligent construction platform, collaborative design,3D modeling, progress management, quality management, materials management, safety management, and Huawei's perspectives and recommendations on data center intelligent construction. Huawei hopes to advance the development of the next-generation intelligent data centers together with industry customers and partners.
