Established in 2002, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) offers various engineering and technology based technical programmes, including high-level Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes.

To enhance network performance, operation and maintenance in UMPSA Gambang campus, three main digital plan was implemented.

• SDN Ready Network Management System (NMS)
  iMaster NCE Campus is being use to manage the network devices and control the users. The NCE Campus controller integrates management, control, analysis, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) functions, providing full-lifecycle automation of campus networks.
• Intelligent Network Analysis Platform
  iMaster NCE Campus Insight collects network data in real time using the Telemetry technology, learns network behaviour and identify fault patterns based on Big Data analysis and machine learning algorithms, helping O&M personnel proactively discover 85% network issues and build excellent network service experience
• Huawei's AirEngine Wi-Fi 6
  The AirEngine series satisfies the requirements of customers across industries, in both indoor and outdoor wireless network deployment scenarios. The efficient industrial design and innovative Internet of Things (IoT) card slot (featuring a removable cover), Huawei's AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 products fully meet the ever-changing requirements of terminals and applications in the digital space.

Customer Benefits

Now at UMPSA, automated network deployment is being used. Huawei iMaster NCE - Campus uses centralized automatic configuration and management to provide customers with fast and low-risk device deployment and service provisioning experience, thereby implementing intent-driven networks.

Meanwhile, Huawei APs integrate IoT modules, providing functions of IoT base stations, implementing converged and simplified management. Huawei wired and wireless convergence technology provides unified wired and wireless management and experience.
