Huawei hosts Service Forum to demonstrate partner support resources at Huawei European Partner Conference 2024

[Como, Italy, April 10-11 2024] Huawei held a dedicated Service Forum at the Huawei European Partner Conference 2024 in Como, Italy to demonstrate its latest set of custom-made partner support services to enhance collaboration with partners.

The company discussed its recently launched O3 Community, Huawei’s platform for global engineers to connect and share their knowledge and experiences as well as Day 2 Service and Powered Implementation Service for Networking 2.1.

The O3 community has the following key functions:

  • Multilingual documentation: as the go-to knowledge and experience library tailored to scenario-based services, the O3 community provides a total of 117 comprehensive technical documents and guides in German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. In addition, the soon-to-be released AI-assisted reading function can translate all English documents into multilingual documents. This will improve the delivery efficiency of partners.
  • Online labs: The online labs focus on major delivery project scenarios with the usage currently at 20,000+ times. Remote access and one-click reservation help partners quickly improve capabilities through hands-on practices.
  • Tool: 18 tools, such as storage simulators, datacom configuration generation tools among others, have been released and are open to partners. These include the popular eNSP Pro, a datacom training and certification simulator, and the storage O&M tool SmartKit for remote delivery. Partners can greatly improve efficiency with these tools.

During the forum, Huawei also presented their Day 2 Services for Partners to help them quickly enhance their operation & maintenance capabilities and improve the customer experience.

Huawei offers an extensive Day 2 service portfolio for partners that businesses can rely on to secure their daily operation. The Huawei Day 2 service for partners immediately improves the ability of partners to offer enhanced support capabilities to their customers, either by simply reselling Huawei branded services, integrating select capabilities into their own service offerings, or using Huawei as an escalation and knowledge center. The Co-Care in particular offers partners the possibility of escalating the more complex and critical troubleshooting cases to Huawei, receiving immediate advice from Huawei experts. It also includes spare-part logistics, eliminating the need for partners to stock their own spare-parts.

While the Huawei Day 2 service offerings already provide significant benefits to partners, Huawei has established a set of incentives that will bring immediate top-line financial benefits to partners who participate.

At the conclusion of the Service Forum, Huawei released the Powered Implementation Service for Networking 2.1.

The Powered Implementation Service for Networking helps partners cope with project delivery challenges, master new technical solutions quickly, and improve project delivery quality and customer satisfaction. The Huawei Powered Implementation Service for Networking provides design collaboration, review collaboration, and implementation assurance collaboration services in campus, data center, WAN branch, optical access, and optical transmission DCI network scenarios.

Highlights of this service include:

  • The design collaboration service provides best practice-based detailed solution design documents for partners.
  • The review collaboration service is designed for partners who are capable of designing but need review support from Huawei experts. The service provides document templates, identifies potential technology or implementation risks, and guide solution optimization.
  • The implementation assurance collaboration service provides guidance and verification based on expert experience during installation and implementation, solves problems during commissioning or change, and ensures delivery quality.
