As the core aggregation node of the eLTE-IoT solution for Internet of Things (IoT) networks, the eSE6201 eLTE-IoT provides the following functions to enable enterprises to develop secure IoT networks using unlicensed frequencies:
The eSE6201 eLTE-IoT works with third-party IoT applications and platforms by supporting open software interfaces and IoT protocols such as IP forwarding and Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT).
For easy deployment, the eSE6201 eLTE-IoT uses virtualization to decouple software from hardware. The system uses a three-layer architecture (basic hardware, virtualization, and product software layers), each of which can be replaced as needed to meet a variety of application requirements.
Huawei’s integration solution includes all-round security, beginning with basic hardware security. In addition to separating the management and maintenance planes, the system supports deployment of a firewall and identity authentication. Virtualization layer security includes VM isolation, secure boot, and process whitelist to protect against viruses, malformed packet attacks, DOS attacks, and deception.
The eSE6201’s microservice architecture enables an open development ecosystem for IoT applications.
