CloudEngine 12800 series switches (CE12800) are next-generation, high-performance core switches designed for data center networks and high-end campus networks. The switches provide stable, reliable, secure, and high-performance Layer 2/Layer 3 switching services to help build an elastic, virtualized, agile, and high-quality network.

Elasticity: A CE12800 switch has up to 367/1,032 Tbit/s switching capacity and provides a maximum of 1,152 x 100 GE, 576 x 40 GE, 4,608 x 25 GE, or 2,304 x 10 GE line-speed interfaces. Virtualization: Up to 16 CE12800 switches can be virtualized into one logical switch, with Border Gateway Protocol–Ethernet VPN (BGP–EVPN) supporting resource sharing among data centers. High quality: Using the patented, strict front-to-rear airflow design, line card and switch fabric unit airflows are isolated, improving heat dissipation efficiency. Multiple energy-saving technologies reduce energy consumption in equipment rooms.
