    CloudEngine 6800 Series Data Center Switches

    CE6800 series switches are 10 GE/25 GE Ethernet switches designed for data center networks and high-end campus networks. These next-generation switches provide high performance, high interface density, and low latency.

    CE6800 series switches have an advanced hardware design with the industry’s highest-density 10 GE/25 GE access interfaces. Along with 40 GE/100 GE uplink interfaces, the switches support many data center features, high-performance stacking technologies, and flexible selection of the airflow direction.

    The high-density access interfaces help enterprises and telecom carriers build cloud-oriented data center networks. These switches can work with data center CE12800 core switches to build elastic, simple, open, and secure cloud data center networks.

    These switches also work as core or aggregation switches on campus networks.

      Oil Company Builds Asia’s Largest Data Center

      China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) deployed the Huawei Data Center Network Solution in three data centers located in two different cities. Using active-active data centers in one city ensures flexible service deployment and Virtual Machine (VM) migration. A third data center in another city helps to further improve reliability. This remote Disaster Recovery (DR) data center ensures quick service recovery and prevents data loss if the active data center and the data center in the same city both develop faults. The solution supports unified and automatic O&M that allows users to monitor the overall network status and quickly locate network faults.

      Leading Media Company Secures Its Future in IPTV

      Huawei worked with Mediaset to build a new network infrastructure that supports this Italian media company’s plans to deliver TV content using Internet Protocol (IPTV). CloudEngine 6800 series data center switches offer high-speed performance via 10 Gbit/s and 40 Gbit/s ports. This solution minimizes Mediaset’s OPEX and ensures high availability.

      Huawei Improves Reliability of Russian Payment Systems

      As part of a TRILL + EVN + VS cross-data-center solution that supports long-term evolution, Huawei CloudEngine data center switches helped build highly scalable active-active data centers to support all bank card payment services in Russia’s National Payment Card System (NPCS). The switches provide high reliability — up to 99.999 percent. CE switches integrate more than 20 payment systems, support 10 million transactions per day, and serve more than 0.1 billion consumers.
