CampusInsight

Huawei’s CampusInsight is an intelligent network analyzer for campus networks. It continuously evaluates the network performance for every user based on billions of user data records and improves the identification rate of potential faults by 85 percent, ensuring optimal service experiences.

CampusInsight uses telemetry technology to dynamically capture fault data in seconds, implementing precise real-time analysis. It manages the entire Wi-Fi journey Additionally, CampusInsight uses the Big Data algorithm to rapidly analyze the root cause of issues in real scenarios using AI technology to automatically generate optimization policies based on user experience, and improving networks.

  • The traffic, duration-based user distribution, peak hours, number of users, and user experience information can be viewed.
    The time range can be the current day, latest three days, and latest 7 days.
  • The KPI trend can be viewed.

    The KPI can be the number of users, negotiation rate, signal strength, traffic, access failure rate, packet loss rate, or interference rate.

    If the KPI trend on the current day is viewed, data statistics are collected by hour. If the KPI trend in a time range longer than one day is viewed, data statistics are collected by day.

  • The AP KPI distribution can be viewed.

    If the KPI is set to the number of users or traffic, the APs with large, average, and small access user quantity or high, average, and low traffic usage are displayed.

    If the KPI is set to the negotiation rate, signal strength, access failure rate, packet loss rate, or interference rate, good, average, and poor APs are displayed based on the number of issues.

  • The distribution of top 5 APs can be viewed.

    If the KPI is set to the number of users or traffic, top N APs with the largest access user quantity or highest traffic usage are displayed.

    If the KPI is set to the negotiation rate, signal strength, access failure rate, packet loss rate, or interference rate, top N APs with the greatest number of issues are displayed.

Management Scale
  • Each set can manage 10,000 APs and 100,000 users.
  • The management scale can be enlarged through server capacity expansion. A maximum of 20,000 APs can be managed.
